The South East Progressive Forum has expressed support for President Muhammadu Buhari's recent cabinet appointments, saying the end result is what actually mattered.
The group said appointments into political positions are Buhari’s prerogatives and at each point in time, he has the right to appoint people he thinks he can work with.
Leader of the group and a former member of the National Assembly, Honourable Bethel Amadi, said what's important to them is the development of infrastructure in the south east which are dilapidated, adding that the educational system has gone down, while kidnapping, gully erosion and insecurity have ravaged the zone.
The group, however, said they are ready to partner with the Federal Government to bring solutions to the problems.
President Buhari was said to have asked them to mobilise the people especially the youths of the various community to see that everyone works together to improve the living conditions of the Nigerian people.
